Dermal Fillers

Hydrate & Rejuvenate with Hyaluronic Acid

Dermal Fillers are one the most popular and versatile products used to treat a variety of concerns. Largely used as an anti ageing injectable treatment, they help to restore lost volume to the face and hands as well as accelerating the production of collagen in the skin where collagen and elastin production has begun to deplete due to the normal process of ageing.

One of the most important considerations is that we love to keep it natural. We only use appropriate amounts of dermal filler so that you look refreshed as opposed to different.

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are commonly used to treat: lines & wrinkles, marionette lines, thin lips, lip lines, nasolabial folds, jowls and sagging skin. Dermal fillers can also be used to restructure facial features such as the nose, midface cheeks, jawline and chin.

At PS Aesthetics Clinic, our founder and lead aesthetician Piril is proud to use a wide range of fillers including Teoxane, Juvederm, Yvoire and Belotero. Their unique dermal filler technology preserves the natural characteristics of the hyaluronic acid molecules to obtain gels with high purity, close to the natural content of hyaluronic acid in the skin.

  • How many treatments will I need?
This will depend on your age, your skin condition and a variety of other factors. We usually recommend starting your SkinPen plan with 3 treatments 30 days apart. Depending on the skin concern being targeted, your skin response and the size and severity of the area being treated, this can vary. SkinPen is also a great treatment option that can be intermittently used in conjunction with other treatments. You can speak to one of our professionals who will put together a treatment plan to suit your needs. Maintenance treatments may be required to support and optimise your result.
  • It sounds painful! Is it?
It’s really not. Depending on your pain tolerance an anaesthetic numbing cream can be applied to the treatment area beforehand to ensure you’re in no pain throughout the procedure.
  • What will I look like immediately post-procedure?
Immediately after your SkinPen treatment you will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This will start to subside after 1 to 2 hours and will normally recover within the same day with only slight redness the following day. Your practitioner will provide you with aftercare advise following your treatment.
  • Can I wear makeup after the treatment?
We advise that make up is not applied for 24 hours after the procedure and a strong UVA/UVB sunscreen is recommended following the treatment.
